Cassie & Shane's Wedding 12/09/09

For those who read my blog on a regular basis, you'll be well aware of how much I love shooting weddings and creating magical memories for people - it's a true passion and I constantly remind myself how lucky I am to share in these intimate moments for people. Every wedding is memorable for something special, however, as I have said several times before, some are just that little bit more special - I don't know why, they just have a certain something that seems to permeate the whole day and helps create even more magic than normal. Cassie & Shane certainly got to enjoy one of those extra special days recently and it was an absolute pleasure to be there to capture it. Yes, I love beach weddings, yes the weather was perfect, yes Cassie chose a stunning canal-side home to get ready, yes they had a marvelous bridal party and yes they chose one of the best reception venues on the Gold Coast, but they also had a fair few (major) setbacks which had to be overcome. It all came together to be a perfect day - we even had Lesley from Celebration Doves and her amazing birds! Even better, it meant I got to escape from the Ideal Bride Expo for a whole day. A massive Thank you to Cassie & Shane for letting us share this magical day :-)

Linsey & Mitchell's Wedding 05/09/09

For those of you who pay close attention to my blog you will remember seeing Linsey & Mitchell's E-Shoot a little bit earlier in the year and you may also recall that Nadine photographed the wedding of Mitchell's sister, Megan to Darren back in May. This time it was Linsey & Mitchell's turn to be fully in the spotlight and another perfect day arrived to help things along. Having already done one wedding in the family this year we decided I should shoot this one so that the imagery would be very different to that of Megan & Darren. We started at Linsey's parent's home near Gatton before heading up to Toowoomba and the very photogenic St Jame's Church. We then headed off to Picnic Point for photo's before heading back to the City Golf Club for the reception. We had an absolutely fabulous day and captured some great imagery, taking full advantage of the great weather and gorgeous locations. I'm sure the families have had enough of weddings this year, but we'd like to thank Linsey and Mitchell for a great day - cheers guys!

Faith & Tim's Wedding 31/08/09

After an incredibly busy time the previous week, the last weekend in August was a bit quieter, but the weather was no less stunning as we headed out to Grandchester and the magnificent Pepper's Hidden Vale for Faith and Tim's wedding. With a morning ceremony and a lunchtime reception, which also doubled as Tim's birthday celebration, this was a shorter shoot than we normally do but we were still able to capture some wonderful memories for Faith & Tim. the location was certainly second to none, with exceptional service and wonderful grounds for photos and I'd like to thank Faith & Tim for the chance to be part of their day.

Sippell Family Photos 23/08/09

The weekend of the 22nd/23rd certainly was our busiest so far this year because immediately after capturing the Hancock/Cousemacker family at Redcliffe I had to head inland to Glenore Grove to shoot the Sippell family at their farm. I had photographed the Sippell girls last year but this time the whole family joined in and I captured some wonderful shots around the farm for them. With such a great range of locations, stunning weather and such a lovely family I had an absolutely great time and I'm sure there will be plenty of family photo's for christmas presents this year.
