Here is a very sneak peak at one of our most exciting projects this year. We were lucky enough to be asked by Joanne Hasson at JK Couture Designs to capture some of her stunning and truly unique bridal gowns for an editorial feature in the next edition of Ideal Bride magazine. We wanted the shoot to refect the timeless elegance and classical style of Joanne's dresses and the location was exceptionally important.
We chose Tattersalls Club, itself an icon of style and sophistication in Brisbane, as the backdrop and were fortunate to be granted exclusive access to its classical architecture and sumptious features.
Ashlea and her team from Unsurpassable Hair created some wonderful hair looks and the amazing Giulia Ponticello created the make-up for our models Jennifer, Taylor & Hayley who worked tirelessly throughout the day to enable us to capture some truly fabulous shots.
You will be able to see Joanne's final selection of images in the next edition of Ideal Bride, but in the mean-time, here is a quick look at just a few of my personal favourites from the day.
I know the models are beautiful, and the location spectacular, but I am sure you will agree it is the dresses which are the real stars of this shoot!!

As anyone who looks at my blog will know, I love shooting at the beach and at the moment I am working on a project to capture sunrise at the beach in a range of different styles and with a variety of equipment, including vintage film cameras. Some of the digital shots are below and it will be a great comparison when I get the the film shots back from the lab and post some of the resultant imagery. Can't wait!!
