The full moon just looked kind of cool last night so I grabbed the chance to get a shot of it!
John is an actor who, with any luck, we may be seeing a lot more of on TV and the big screen in the future. John came into the studio to get some shots for his portfolio, and just like Tayla a couple of weeks ago, we tried a great range of looks and styles for him.
On the second Sunday in March we headed off to the Botanical gardens for some E-shoots with some of our existing couples and also for some new couples who had taken advantage of a Free E-Shoot offer. Despite VERY changeable weather, we had a great day - and it was fabulous exercise too nipping from one of the Gardens to the other a fair few times. Here are some of my favourite images from the day...
So now the big man upstairs has tried everything to spoil a perfect day - we've had drought, we've had Swine Flu, we've had dust-storms and now we've had FLOOD!! Christie and Brad chose the wettest weekend for their special day in Dalby. For them the adventure started days before when they had to make their way down from Cooktown, crossing many a swollen river on the way. For us it was much easier, just a quick trip out along the Warrego Highway and despite much rain on the way, Dalby itself escaped most of the worst of the weather. Christie & Brad had a fabulous day with their family and friends and we captured some wonderful imagery for them. Thanks for letting us share your special day.
Although we love photographing Weddings and Portraits it is cool to get out and do something completely different every now and then. The last weekend in February found us shooting the Laidley Twilight Athletic Carnival. Despite periods of rather inclement weather, the athletes braved the conditions and produced some fantastic performances in a variety of sports from sprinting through to discuss and javelin.
