Rachel & Sandy's wonderful wedding at the City Botanical Gardens...

Rachel & Sandy celebrated their nuptials in a wonderfully intimate celebration at the City Botanical Gardens. With COVID-19 restrictions having thrown their original plans to marry in New Zealand into disarray, this fabulously resourceful couple made the brave choice to re-arrange their big day at short notice and created a magical experience. Family and friends who couldn't be there due to the ongoing travel dislocation were able to share in the ceremony via live-streaming and we able to witness Brisbane turn on it's very best winter weather for a couple who more than deserved a perfect day...

Jaimi and Bodhi's fantabulous Flaxton fling...

Weddings are back and it was an absolute pleasure to head up to Montville and catch up with Clive and the team from Maleny Wedding Photography to capture Jaimi and Bohdi's special day at the lovely Flaxton Gardens. The weather turned on it's absolute winter best for the couple and they were able to enjoy a wonderfully picture perfect day after the stress of lockdown.

You can check out some of the highlights in this little teaser video we have created...

There's something about Maryborough...

As the COVID-19 restrictions continued to ease we decided it was time to do our bit and support some of the Queensland tourism businesses who've been doing it tough for the past few months and head out on a bit of a road trip. We chose to head north to Hervey Bay, and, whilst whale-watching still wasn't an option, there was plenty to see and do in the region. We based ourselves in Maryborough, an utterly charming and delightful town with a long and proud history and chock-full of stunning colonial and federation-era architecture. Maryborough was also the birthplace of the author PL Travers, famous as the creator of Mary Poppins and is still an important railway town.

Brisbane Registry Virtual Tour...

Having created some fabulous marketing imagery for the Registry last year, we were excited when they called up to tell us they were re-opening for weddings after the lockdown had kept their ceremony rooms closed for 3 months.
Normally, prospective couples can pop into the Registry on a Thursday morning to view the stunning, architecturally-designed ceremony rooms, however, as a government building, COVID-19 restrictions are still in place preventing visitations, so the wonderful team at the Registry asked if would could help them create a virtual tour experience for them.
When we'd been filming last year we discussed with their team that we had just invested in 360 panoramic camera technology and that it might be useful for them, but none of us ever expected it would be because of a global pandemic just a few months later.
Nonetheless, it was a pleasure to be able to drop in and catch up and capture a fantastically immersive tour for them which includes some of the short clips we created for them last and which you can see below...
