Easter 2011

With just about picture perfect weather every day, Easter 2011 certainly provided a much needed pickup for Queensland's ailing tourist economy after the disastrous summer we have all endured. We spent some wonderful autumn days around Brisbane and at the Gold Coast doing some great walks and getting to shoot some wonderful new locations. For the first part of the weekend around Brisbane I shot digital, and then switched to film when we headed to the coast and I'll upload those images when the films come back from the lab.

Ashleigh & Troy's Wedding

Another perfect day in paradise!! Ashleigh and Troy got to enjoy their magical special day in Redcliffe, bathed in wonderful autumnal sunshine. We knew this was always going to be a great day with such a lovely couple and it certainly didn't disappoint. Everything went perfectly and we were able to capture some beautifully touching and fun moments with stunning backdrops. Another great day that reminds us how lucky we are to do what we do!! Thanks Ash & Troy for letting be a part of your special day :-)

Taryn & John's E-Shoot

Taryn and John came out to the studio for their e-shoot on a picture perfect day and we had a great time shooting a massive selection of images for them. We are really looking foward to photographing and videoing their special day a little bit later in the year. Stay tuned for some more great imagery :-)

No, it's not me fishing - I don't have the patience for that (or like fishy foods that much either!!) but these shots were captured at Redcliffe the other week and I just love the light!!

Matt & Makayla's Wedding

There are wedding days that are memorable for so many different reasons, and Matt & Makayla's is one of those because it had to have been one of the wettest days we have ever encountered. In actual fact, I don't think I've been so wet since the time I fell in the fountain!! Despite the attrocious Toowoomba weather, Matt & Makayla, with the help of Therese & her team at City Golf Club, were able to enjoy a wonderful day. In the face of some awful weather, they braved the elements to enable us to capture some some truly unique and stunning imagery that we are very proud of. With the exceptionally talented Mick Lindsay providing the entertainment at the reception the party was in full swing as we headed for home and some warm dry clothes. Thanks to Matt & Makayla for perservering with shoot and for letting us capture your day.
