Beneath the Jacarandas - Genevieve, Matt & Elyse's family photos...

One of things we love most about photography is being invited back into the lives of people from time to time, seeing relationships develop and families grow. Sometimes it's a few years between catch-ups, but sometimes it's less than that but what a difference a year can make! Last year we met up with Genevieve & Matt and their new little bundle of joy Elyse beneath the jacarandas at UQ and this year, exactly one year later, we were back to see the now toddling Elyse was getting on...

Suzie & Rob at Cedar Creek Cottages...

As the 2019 spring wedding season began to wind down, there was time for one more visit to Mt Tamborine (our third this season) for Suzie & Rob's wedding at Thunderbird Park. Having chosen a "marquee" date (19-10-19), the fabulous couple had had a fairly long wait for the big day after confirming their booking at New Year 2018, but that had given us plenty of time for a couple of pre-wedding shoots in the intervening months and it was great to see some of the images from those shoots as part of the table decoration on their wedding day.
With the weather playing ball with a corker of a sunset, and the Milky Way coming out for the final time this year, this was a wonderful day atop the mountain and we can't wait to be back again in the Autumn...

Jaime & Karl at Kangaroo Point...

The second weekend in October was brought to you by the letters J & K! After celebrating Joy & Ken's wedding in the CBD on Saturday, Sunday found us just on the other side of the river at Kangaroo Point for Jaime & Karl's pre-wedding photoshoot. Their wedding will be our first for 2020 (unless someone else nips in quick with a short-notice booking), with a mid-January date at the Landing at Dockside. Brisbane turned on some gorgeous early morning light as we enjoyed a stroll along the clifftops...

Joy & Ken celebrate their love in the Brisbane CBD...

After a week of chillier weather, Brisbane turned on its absolute best in time for Joy and Ken to celebrate their nuptials in and around the CBD. Of course having made the sensible decision to use the sublime Brisbane Registry, these lovebirds knew that their ceremony would be unaffected by the weather, but having the wonderful spring sun meant we were able to nip down to Roma Street Parklands for some hero shots beneath the waterfalls and amongst the fabulous flowerbeds before heading back to the sumptuous sophistication of the Sofitel for their reception. And we did all this with one of our short, two-hour "Canape" packages - how cool is that?
