Krystle & Stephen's E-Shoot - Mt Cootha

It was great to catch up with Krystle and Stephen last week - it's not long until their big day but we took the opportunity to get together to capture some really cool shots around Mt Cootha. The choice of location was important as it holds special memories for this lovely couple and we captured some wonderfully touching moments. Despite the thick smoggy haze over Brisbane it really was a stunning day and we are just hoping this amazing spring weather can continue for the rest of the Wedding season - though with a little breeze to clear the air.

Tiffany & Nick's Wedding

Our first wedding of the spring season was simply magical! Picture perfect weather, a gorgeous couple and some wonderful country atmosphere combined to make it one of our most memorable days this year. It was a day when everything came together to allow us to capture so many touching and emotive moments - the butterfly landing on Tiffany's finger during the butterfly release just summed up how well the day went. They were even blessed with a really stunning sunset over the water at Lake Apex in Gatton. It was a really fabulous day and we are still editing the images - there are just so many to choose from, but we just had to share a few of my favourites.

Ideal Bride September Expo - JK Couture

As anyone who reads my blog will know, we have been working with Joanne Hasson of JK Couture Designs over the past few months capturing some stunning imagery of her gorgeous couture gowns. Joanne obviously never sleeps because although we photographed her gowns just a few weeks ago she had even more unique new styles on show at this expo! The images we captured for her can now be seen in an editorial feature in the new edition of Ideal Bride which is available at newsagents now. If you want to enjoy a real "haute couture" experience with your wedding gown make a time to meet with Joanne - you will be amazed!

The gorgeous models for all the designers are from Division Models, who as always made the parade a spectacular event.

Always Habit is Brisbane's leading menswear fashion label and produce some simply fantastic designs that can be as formal or informal as you want to be. The boys are always a highlight of the fashion parades and this time was no exception!

Ideal Bride September Expo - Annah Stretton

Annah Stretton Bridal were also first-time exhibitors, but it felt like we knew them as they are one of New Zealand's leading fashion houses. One of their stores is on Ponsonby Road in Auckland, just round the corner from our old house, and they showcased some wonderfully eclectic designs from their newly opened store in Paddington.

Another first time exhibitor for this expo were Cyan Reign who showcased a fabulously varied range of dresses and gowns, together with their unique body-sculting corsetry.
