Side Bar... a corporate gig for the Mullenjaiwakka Trust

We are very proud of our support for a diverse range of charitable organisations and we were honoured to capture imagery of a fundraising event for the Bar Association of Queensland and Mullenjaiwakka Trust at The Coffee Club on George Street last week. The Mullenjaiwakka Trust was set up by the distinguished barrister Lloyd McDermott (Mullenjaiwakka) to help support indigenous students on their journey into the legal profession. The first indigenous person admitted to the bar in Australia, Mullenjaiwakka was a trailblazer in many areas, including representing the Wallabies during the 1960s but sadly passed away shortly before the function but was represented by his daughter who gave a moving speech to the audience of students and legal professionals...
