Ruth & Greg's Wedding 16/08/09

Another perfect August day dawned for Ruth & Greg's Wedding and we headed into central Brisbane for a great day. Ruth looked absolutely fantastic when we arrived and was showing no signs of the nerves she had for the E-shoot and we knew it was going to be a good day. After capturing some lovely in and around her parent's home we headed to St Ignatius' in Indooropilly for the service. St Ignatius' is a stunning and imposing edifice which makes for great photography and we had fun with Greg and his Groomsmen whilst they waited for Ruth to arrive. After Mass it was onto the photos and down to the Botanical Gardens for the location shoot, and being a Sunday, we didn't have to queue quite as much as usual for the best locations. We captured a great range of imagery before heading back off to Riverglen at St Lucia for the reception. We had a fabulous day and thanks to Ruth and Greg for letting us share it with them.

Chantel & Brendan's E-Shoot 05/08/09

Chantel & Brendan chose the beautiful City Botantic Gardens for their E-Shoot in early August. The weather was again stunning and it was great to catch up with Chantel & Brendan just a few weeks out from their wedding. We had a great time doing the shoot and you will see more of Chantel & Brendan soon when we post their wedding imagery from Redcliffe - and hopefully a TTD (Trash the Dress) shoot - if Chantel can bear to trash her dress!!

Lauren & Ben's Wedding 02/08/09

Whilst I was down in Cleveland shooting Madonna & Eddie's wedding, Nadine and her team were out in the Lockyer Valley capturing Lauren & Ben's special day with stills and video. We had photographed Lauren's brother's (Ben) wedding last year and as you can see from the photos Lauren & Ben had a wonderful day and you can read more about it (and see the highlight video!) on Nadine's blog. Congratulations Lauren & Ben.

Madonna & Eddie's Wedding 02/08/09

Having photographed Madonna & Eddie's E-shoot at Mt Cotton Rainforest Gardens a little earlier in the year I was really looking forward to their wedding day which was held at Oyster Point Park at the start of August. Our luck with the winter weather continued to hold and we enjoyed another fabulous day down at the beach with Madonna & Eddie. Madonna looked absolutely stunning and with her bubbly and attentive bridal party we got some great shots at the Shangri-La before heading down to the park to see Eddie & the boys. Eddie's Tongan heritage was very much in evidence at the ceremony and it was fantastic to feel a part of such a huge family occasion. After a very moving Bahai service it was off to manly for the location photos and everyone had an absolute blast. The Bridal party were just fantastic throughout and the time seemed to pass incredibly quickly, but not before we had captured some wonderful memories. The reception was back at the Shangri-La in Wynnum and they put on an exceptional event, the highlights for me being the high-energy entrance by the Bridal Party (eat your hearts out JK wedding dance people!!) and then the wonderful Tongan dancing - I just wish we had video of that!! We had a brilliant day and our thanks to Madonna & Eddie for inviting us to be part of their day.

Joanne & Luke's E-Shoot 26/07/09

Joanne & Luke are getting married in October at the Gold Coast (but not at the beach) and so chose to have their E-Shoot at Main Beach at the end of July. With stunning winter weather (as you can see, it was even warm enough to dip our toes in the water!!) and a very relaxed and easy-going couple we were able to capture some truly stunning imagery. Everyone had a great time and we got a great range of shots on the beach and up in the dunes behind. I'm really looking forward to Luke & Joanne's wedding, especially the opportunity to shoot at the amazing Palazzo Versace.

Ruth & Greg's E-Shoot 21/07/09

Ruth and Greg chose the wonderful walk around Kangaroo Point for their E-Shoot in July. The weather was just perfect and although Ruth and Greg were both nervous to start with they quickly relaxed and we had a great time capturing some gorgeous shots.
