We have full-day and half-day courses for individuals, with one-on-one intensive training conducted both in the classroom and in the field with notes supplied in electronic and hardcopy form to refer back to in the future. Prices start at from as little as $50 per person for half-day.

We have half-day courses for small groups (up to 5 participants) conducted in a photo-safari style in photographically interesting locations where participants can get hand-on with a variety of techniques and styles and can enjoy peer-review sessions. These courses work-out very cost effectively. So get a group together to have fun learning a new skill.

We also have a range a short courses on specific subjects such as portraits and night photography which are available as one-to-one or group sessions. These courses are perfect for people who want to improve a specific aspect of their hobby and are carried out on-location with lots of hands-on tuition and practice.

New Service at the Studio - Possum Portraits

Mr & Mrs Possum and family were unexpected customers at the new studio tonight - we're not even open yet but they came by for a portrait shoot nonetheless. Little Pete here was a real handful - climbing the trees and having a great time. Love having nature in the middle of the city and you will be able to pop by for the same fabulous experience once our renovations are complete in a few weeks time!

After another amazing year of photography it's been all change here at Masterpieces. Not only have we relocated, albeit only 2 minutes down the road, but we've also taken our brand on a journey of transformation. We are over the moon to be starting 2015 with a whole new look and with that comes a renewed vigour and excitement for life, love and weddings.

Who wouldn't want to be the US president?? Not only the leader of the free-world, with the power and prestige that accompanies the post, but also look at one the perks of the job...your own private airforce! The G20 in Brisbane has seen an impressive array of US (and Australian) military firepower on show to support the visit of the rather inspirational Barack Obama. From the versatile, if somewhat unorthodox, V-22 Ospreys to the more recognisable Airforce One presidential 747 and Marine One Seaking helicopters there was some interesting air action around the Brisbane CBD all weekend!
