The Ron Mueck Exhibition

Well, if you follow my Facebook page, you will know I wasn't massively impressed with this major exhibition at GOMA. I'm not a big fan of Madame Tussauds and this was just like that - loads of tourists and not that much exciting to see. I'm just not sure this is really art - it is fabulous model making, but the guys at Weta Workshops in Wellington do this sort of thing - and much better - every day. Anyway, the only cool thing about it was the rare opportunity at an art gallery to take your own photo's of the exhibits and I couldn't pass up a chance like that...
