Kristin & Matthew's Wedding 15/10/10

As I've said many times, I do have the best job in the world - I get to earn my living doing something that is also my favourite hobby, in some stunning locations and sharing it with some wonderful people. We've had a really great run of weddings recently and although the weather has not been kind, we have been to some fabulous places and been able to create some truly memorable imagery for lovely couples and their families and friends. Another great day was spent with Kristin & Matthew at the Marriot at Surfer's paradise a couple of weeks ago. In a day packed with raw emotion, we were able to priviledged to be there to capture the laughter, the smiles and the tears, both of happiness and sadness, that made the day so special. The weather may not have wanted to play ball (again!!) but we loved being part of a wonderful day and we thank Kristin & Matthew for letting us share in it.

Barbara & Shawn's Wedding - 10/10/10

The final installment of our incredibly busy weekend was up in Toowoomba for Barbara & Shawn's wedding. Once again the weather gods were not smiling on us, this time predicting gale force winds as well as rain!! Luckily Barbara & Shawn had closen some great locations for their day - the ceremony at Stephens Church and reception at Middle Ridge Golf club - which did give us some chance to capture some great imagery out of the weather. With it being Bathhurst weekend, cars, and bikes, did play a big part in the day too and even better, the Holdens won the big race too!! Although the weather did cut short the photoshoot a little bit, the reception got going early and it looked like it was going to be a real rip-roaring party :-)
Thanks to Barbara & Shawn for letting us be part of the day.

Rebecca & Adrian's Wedding

OK, so whilst Nadine headed down to the Gold Coast I headed to the magnificent Apostolic Cathedral at Hatton Vale in the Lockyer Valley for Rebecca & Adrian's nuptials. I hadn't shot a wedding at this stunning venue for a while and was really looking forward to it, despite the nagging fact that the last time I was there "the fountain incident" occurred and about 15 grand's worth of gear got written off!! This time I stayed well away from any water (kind of anyway) and was able to enjoy a really wonderful day with Rebecca & Adrian. After the ceremony and lunchtime reception we headed over to Gatton for fantastic photoshoot at just about every location you can do and managed to avoid the worst of the rather "changeable" weather. I had a great day and thank you to Rebecca & Adrian for letting me be a part of it.
