The carol of the birds...

Christmas in the land downunder has it's own traditions and it's own soundtrack, and one popular Christmas tune that is as Aussie as a BBQ by the beach is the Carol of the Birds. Last week I got to enjoy my own evening chorus whilst photographing the myriad of bird species to be found at the Sandy Flat Lane Wetland Reserve in Wynnum with the Canon Collective and here are a few of my favourite shots...
