We were very fortunate to be able to spend a night at Sanctuary Cove on return from our wonderful little cruise around Moreton Bay, with a dramatic stormy sunset that was something of a portent for the flooding that was come just a week or so later...

The carol of the birds...

Christmas in the land downunder has it's own traditions and it's own soundtrack, and one popular Christmas tune that is as Aussie as a BBQ by the beach is the Carol of the Birds.
