Ellie's Portfolio...

 Ellie needed some new natural light shots for her portfolio so we took advantage of the stunning surrounds of the UQ campus at St Lucia...







Portraits with a twist...

We're always looking for new ways to use the spaces around our studio and Zoe is always keen for new headshots, so last weekend we got bit creative with some spaces and some light painting to create a really diverse range of dramatic portraits. Dave will be explaining the techniques he used to create the dramatic lighting in a forthcoming Tech2Tips article...















Pandemic Portraiture...

With the COVID-19 restrictions keeping us restricted to our immediate locality for several weeks, we've been keeping busy with housekeeping tasks in the office such as archiving our files and cleaning equipment ready for the big restart that's coming soon. We've also been using the home studio for some in-house portrait shoots and luckily we had a one very willing team member who was keen to get in front of the camera...










Dance then, wherever you may be...







Dance photography is incredibly challenging - that's the reason we love it so much - and in mid-April we had the opportunity to work with a fabulously talented emerging dance artist in the City Botanical Gardens, creating both some new portfolio images ands a video for a contemporary routine she had choreographed. We even managed to find time to capture a new head shot for her CV...
