Down by the River

September is the pick of the months to be down by the Brisbane River, with the annual Riverfire event as the fitting climax of the Brisbane Festival. This year we got to enjoy some corporate hospitality on the evening itself and had a thoroughly enjoyable night out watching the evening unfold, unlike most years when we are down with the crowds capturing the action. I did get out and shoot the RAAF Hornets during their practice run earlier in the week and also grabbed some shots of the evening skyline minus the fireworks...
